Medusa is a heart wrenching character from mythology. She is punished for being attacked and later killed by a "hero". I fell in love with her from The Clash of the Titan's stop motion by Ray Harryhausen and have enjoyed how authors play with her mythology. So when I found a lovely mold for her I had to create some mugs. Here is one with Medusa and a snake upon it. Glazed beiges and greens to reflect stone and snake.
Mug is approx 4" x 3" and holds about 12 oz.

Dishwasher and microwave safe - strongly recommend handwashing
All of my pieces are 100% handmade by myself, normally under the supervision of helper kitty. I use stamps, stencils, and a bit of my own drawing for each piece. Due to the wonderfulness of handmade ceramics there can be imperfections, adding to the distinctive appearance. All glazes are commercially purchased and are certified food safe. Care information
All items are glazed with a food safe commercial glaze. To retain the quality of your piece and ensure longevity, hand-washing is recommended, however, the products are dishwasher and microwave safe. Avoid moving items between extreme hot or cold environments such as an oven or freezer, as this could cause thermal shock and result in fragility and cracking and/or breakage.
Planters should be brought inside during freezing weather.
